Adam West to play Batman one last time.

As you will all recall, Adam West sadly passed away earlier this year. The word legend is often overused these days but we would defy anybody not to write an article about the mayor of Quahog without using that word. Whilst he will receive the send off he deserves in upcoming episodes of Family Guy, it seems only right that he get one more chance to play the man behind the cowl. It’s with deep joy that we report that Mr West will appear once more as the caped crusader.

After the return of both West and Burt Ward in the animated feature, Batman: Return of the Caped Crusaders, earlier this year, we have learnt that West had actually completed voice work for its highly anticipated sequel, Batman Vs Two Face. The synopsis of the upcoming feature describes how the film will show the birth of the notorious villain after an accident during an experiment. Although the character of Two Face was never shown in the classic 1960’s show featuring West, this cross-over will no doubt please fans. Now for the truly mind-blowing news… Two-Face will be voiced by none other than William Shatner!

This meeting of two of the greatest TV icons of all time is actually going to happen and whilst we never got to see these two screen Goliaths square off against each other for real, we are happy that at least we will get to see it in animation form and could not think of a more fitting send off for Adam West.

Rest in peace Old Chum.
