Daniel Craig confirms he will return for one more Bond film.

Following our report yesterday regarding the uncertainty of Daniel Craig’s future as James Bond the actor was asked whether he will play the secret agent again during his appearance on US chat show The Late Show. The actor responded with a blunt,  “Yes,” to the show’s host Stephen Colbert. Craig, who has played 007 in the last four Bond films from 2006 to the most recent outing, 2015’s Spectre, has until now refused to confirm whether he will do so again. He went on to confirm that he’s known for a couple of months and said,
“We’ve been discussing it, we’ve just been trying to figure things out,” he said. “I always wanted to, I needed a break.”

What Craig also confirmed was that it will be his last outing as the 007,
“I just want to go out on a high note, and I can’t wait.”

The 25th film in the series, which has been running since 1962’s Dr. No, is due out in November 2019.
