Star Wars: The Last Jedi could clock in at 150 minutes.

There have been a lot of rumours and speculation regarding the upcoming Star Wars: The Last Jedi, and any reports should be taken with a pinch of salt, however, with less than three months to go before it’s release, it seems this latest part of the epic saga may be the longest.

Nothing has been officially confirmed yet but anyone looking at the Cineworld website to see if and when early booking is available will be in for a surprise as it seems The Last Jedi may be the longest Star Wars movie yet.

The previous longest film in the saga, Episode II: Attack Of The Clones clocked in at 142 minutes (although many claimed it felt much longer!) but if Cineworld is correct, the Rian Johnson directed epic will be 150 minutes long.

Does Cineworld know something we don’t? We are not aware of the specifics of any planned exhibitor’s or press screenings yet (if there will be any) so this could be the cinema chain erring on the side of caution. Either way, the rumour mill keeps cranking them out as the anticipation builds.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi is scheduled to be released worldwide December 15th.
