Kevin Feige may have a solution to explain the confusing timeline of the MCU.

With the upcoming release of the third instalment of Thor getting extremely positive early reviews, it appears that Marvel Studios will have yet another hit on their hands and along with the solo Black Panther movie plus the third Avengers movie also upcoming, the studio’s success seems set to continue.

One key factor in the new releases schedule may well prove to be the continuity factor between the movies and recently Marvel do seem to have lost that element in their storytelling prowess, with some fans questioning the time setting of recent releases such as Doctor Strange and Spider-Man: Homecoming.

Speaking recently to Screen Rant, MCU boss Kevin Feige was quick to acknowledge this and it appears that he has a solution;

“We are going to be publishing an official, and I’m not sure when, or in what format, an official timeline. It’ll probably be a part of … I don’t know … a part of an in-print that you can fold out and look at. But suffice to say, only in limited cases do we ever actually say what the actual years are because we never want to be tied down to a particular year and I think people assume that whenever the movie is released is when is when the movie is taking place, and that is not the case”.

Thor: Ragnarok opens in the UK October 24th and the US November 3rd.
